Demolition begins a new Development

Demolition of the remaining units at the former RAF Quedgeley site, off Naas Lane, has begun. The demolition is to be phased over a number of years so that existing businesses will continue to operate during this period. This latest phase will open up the site for development into a high quality business park over approximately 40 acres.

BRIDGEND SITE COMMENCES CONSTRUCTION

Robert Hitchins Limited has commenced construction of more than 60,000 ft2 of Industrial and Research and development space at Central Park, Bridgend Industrial Estate. Leading local occupier Biotec has agreed to base its new headquarters at Central park to complement its growing international order book. The company which conducts clinical trials for sensitive biopharmaceutical products for use in the EU will take a new bespoke 13,000 ft2 unit on Western Avenue Marc Weinzwig Managing Director of Biotec commented “We are delighted to confirm our plans for Central Park. Once we had chosen Central Park as the location to give our growing business the profile it needed we spent a considerable amount of time with the Hitchins team and our own advisors to design the accommodation required for Biotec and our evolving industry. This building will give us the platform to expand our operations and we are very pleased that the scheme is underway”.

STONEHOUSE PARK GROWTH CONTINUES

Robert Hitchins Limited has now commenced Phase 2 of their canalside office developments at Stonehouse Park, near Stroud, with three buildings already under offer.
